The City is seeking interested residents for appointment to the City's volunteer Planning Agency. Eligible applicants must be residents of the City of DuPont for a minimum of one year. TREE ADVISORY BOARD OPENINGS
The Tree Advisory Board was created by the DuPont City Council on October 28, 2008. The purpose of the Board is to evaluate and recommend policies to the City for implementing the City's goals to provide for a more robust urban forestry program to protect trees, provide for the safety of residents, and to abate or mitigate problems associated with dangerous trees. The Tree Advisory Board shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. Members of the Tree Advisory Board may include arborists, landscape professionals, urban planners, and citizens with an interest in urban forestry. Members of the Tree Advisory Board need not be residents of the City. Please submit a letter of interest that includes your relevant professional experience and your reasons for desiring to be appointed to a position, together with a copy of your resume to City Hall, Attn: Erin Larsen, City Clerk, 1700 Civic Drive, DuPont, WA.
