POLICE OFFICERS
The City of DuPont has two (2) openings for Police Officers and is accepting applications for both Lateral and Entry Level Police Officers. These positions are full-time, non-exempt positions with a pay range of $24.94-$30.68 per hour. The application process closes on April 18, 2013, Friday at 5:00 pm. No postmarks will be accepted. Lateral applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Police Officer and must have worked as such at least 24 months within the last 36 months in a City, County, or State police agency and must have graduated from a state sanctioned police academy. Entry level applicants must have taken and passed the written test offered by Public Safety Testing (PST) and successfully passed the agility test prior to the April 18, 2013 closing date. To qualify, applicants must be over 21 years old, US citizen, with no felony convictions and must be able to obtain a valid WA driver's license prior to appointment.
