Pet Licensing

It is time to renew your pet license for 2010.

All 2010 pet licenses can be renewed through the City of DuPont.  If you purchased a 2009 pet license from the City, courtesy renewal notices will be mailed in December.  For 2011, we will send renewal reminders by email.  If you would like a courtesy reminder, please supply your email address on the application.

Residents can get their pet tag at City Hall, located in the Civic Center, at 1700 Civic Drive, DuPont (right off of Center Dr).  We are open from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
New pet owners or new residents who own dogs and cats three months of age or older, have 30 days in which to purchase a license.  All dogs and cats, three months of age or older, must be current on their vaccinations.  Proof of vaccination must be presented at the time of licensing.

Dog owners may transfer a current pet license to another dog of the same reproductive status if your licensed dog passes away.  Cat owners may transfer a current pet license to another cat of the same reproductive status if your licensed cat passes away.  Owners are responsible for notifying the City of DuPont of the transfer and provide all information on their new animal.

If your animal had a license, and you no longer have your pet, please contact City Hall at (253) 964-8121 to have your pet's name removed from our roster.
