Reserve Officer Hiring Process
The hiring process for Reserve Police Officers is as follows:
- Initial application
- Applications will be screened
- Written Test
- Physical Ability Test
- Oral Board
- Polygraph examination
- Psychological evaluation
- Medical examination
- Chiefs interview
Each Reserve Officer is required to attend an approved Reserve Academy. After completing the academy, each Reserve Officer will be required to patrol a minimum of 16 hours per month and attend the monthly reserve training/meeting.
