Public Works

   

The Public Works Department helps to protect and promote the health and safety of the community by overseeing the development, maintenance, repair and operations of the City's infrastructure including the City's municipal water system, stormwater facilities, public streets and sidewalks, irrigation, and all City parks, trails, buildings, and other City-owned facilities.

To provide a safe and balanced transportation system, and safe water service, effective storm-water management, and efficient park and greenway services.  Continue to reflect the progressive philosophy of a planned community.

Where can I dig on my property?  What about utility lines?

Call the Utilities Underground Location Center at 1-(800) 424-5555 or 811 at least 2 business days in advance for free location and marking of utility lines. You are responsible for any lines that could be damaged during work on your property, so always call ahead and work carefully.
